Kenneth Metnick is the founder and senior partner of Metnick & Levy. He began his legal career in New York, where he worked for his father, who also was a civil trial attorney for over 40 years, before moving to Florida in 1986. Known as a tenacious, strategic and fearless attorney, Mr. Metnick enjoys the competitive nature of the legal field, where he often takes on difficult cases that have been turned down by other law firms.

Mr. Metnick is a graduate of Hofstra University (B.A. – 1980) and received his law degree in 1984 from the George Washington University School of Law. A native of Long Island, New York, he is admitted to practice in Florida, New York and the Southern District of Florida. Focusing his practice in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death civil litigation, Mr. Metnick has successfully represented thousands of clients since founding the firm in 1989 and building it from the ground up. He has resolved numerous cases in excess of $1 million.

Mr. Metnick runs the day–to–day operations of the firm, as well as being the firm's administrator and supervisor of the pre–suit department. He continues to participate in both high–stakes trials and mediations. Mr. Metnick is an EAGLE member of the Florida Justice Association, and a member of the America Association of Justice, the Florida, New York, and Palm Beach County Bar Associations, the Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

In December 2006, Mr. Metnick was selected as one of the nation’s top plaintiff attorneys by Lawdragon.com based on recommendations of his peers. He has resided in Boca Raton for the last two decades, where he currently lives with his wife, Lori, their daughter, Lexi, and their pet dog, cat and rabbit.
